It has been an absolute pleasure and a joy to make this comic and connect with you guys. My sincerest thank you to all of you, you have made this so much fun to do and made the long hours worth it. I am starting up another comic called Peppermint Helmet over at www.pepperminthelmet.com. I'd love it if you joined me on that journey, too. It'll be quite different, a gag-strip but I wouldn't be surprised if Tripp characters found their way in it here and there. :)
There's also books and ebooks of Tripp for sale, check the post on the main site for details! www.trippcomic.com
@SnowTheHedgehog - That's such a kind thing to say. I've really enjoyed doing this comic and meeting all of you. It's quite bittersweet but I'd rather the comic go out on a high note than wear out its welcome. I am working on a getting another story-based comic going, I'd suggest following me on instagram or tumblr and you can see sketches and updates for that.
@The_Hankerchief - It's not, unfortunately, but I've tried to make it easy to keep up with between RSS and receiving via email. Thanks so much for spending some time with the comic and all the comments, it helps to know I'm not doing this in a vacuum. :)
@Ultimate the Hedgehog - Thanks so much. You've really been a dedicated reader and commenter and I super appreciate it. As ugly as the internet can be sometimes, this is when it's at its best. Keep an eye out for my next projects. Peppermint Helmet is gag strips but I'm also getting another story one together, it just needs some prep.
@Nice-ness - A new fan but no less important to me. I'm sad, too. Thanks for giving my little comic a chance!
@Luvzfashion86 - Thank you so much. That means a lot to me. Readers like you make it worth it.
@Author Jakes - Thanks, Jakes. It's been a pleasure to do this for all of you. I have the best readers in the biz.
@Ed Bonderenka - I appreciate that, Ed. Thanks so much for reading!
@thisguy - Thanks so much! Hope to see you over on www.pepperminthelmet.com!
@qazox - Thanks for giving it a chance and all the comments. Feel free to come over to Peppermint Helmet and hang out. It'll be a party.
@gamekidg7 - I'm trying out tapastic as my mirror this time around, as it seems to have a more gag-friendly fanbase. SJ has treated me well though and I haven't ruled out the possibility, I just don't know if I have the time to maintain 3.
@SuperScratchkat - Seriously?! In one day? Thanks!
@Xailenrath - Thanks, Xailenrath, that means a lot. I really enjoyed doing it. Hopefully you'll check out Peppermint Helmet, my new strip at www.pepperminthelmet.com. You can always sign up for RSS or email so you don't have to remember to check. :)
@I have mace - thanks! Feel free to check out my new comic over at www.pepperminthelmet.com!
@Author Jakes - Nope... That's it. There are some longer thoughts at the home site trippcomic.com
@hungsoon - Thanks!
@niceness - As it should be! :)
@SalemCat - Thanks, Salemcat! Ariel 51 is a different type story with different goals and it's just getting going. In fact, the next page is going to be a major springboard for the story.
Well well. Looks like things have come to an end. I'd like to thank you, Spinester. This comic really has been a ride; one of the few webcomics out there that can bring that magical feeling back that I had when I picked up reading webcomics. Tripp really has class and Tripp (heh) was a worthy main character. All the cast were lovely and Poe was the cherry on top of the cake...
... Wait, I don't even like fruit in my cakes. Damn it!
Thanks for having us along for the ride, man. This comic was equal parts entertaining and enjoyable, and helped make Monday a little less crappy. We'll see you over at Peppermint Helmet! (Is that hosted here as well?)
*sniff* I promised myself I wouldn't cry...
I'll miss this comic. Mondays and Thursdays are gonna be a lot less fun now.
And nice ending, it's only fitting that the series ends with Poe being witty.
And I like the final drawing of the cast. Good work.
Despite how big their smiles are, I find myself sad.
I'm a new fan here and it already ended. T-T
Thank you for the laughs.
Thanks for all the good times, this comic has been a real treat to read :)
I'll miss it but you really did a wonderful job not just with the ending but with the entire comic.
Thanks so much for the terrific story!
A wonderful comic that started with an acid trip'p, ending all the way here. A lively and diverse cast, the story is insanely long and complicated, but of course with awesome (and tear-able) puns around every corner. Congrats.
I really enjoyed this, and like the rest, hate to see it go.
But better to go out well.
Well done, excellent ending. I have enjoyed reading Tripp for several years now, and I feel this is a good note to send it off on.
Best of luck with your future endeavours.
Found this comic randomly searching on Smackjeeves; was curious about the plot, stayed because of the great artwork and writing. Thank you for the past few years, and best of luck in the future, Bill.
I have loved this comic from start to finish, and have loved every minute of it. I wish you all the best in the future with your other comic(s).
Also, on a side note: I know that with Tripp you posted them here and on your own site. Will you be doing the same with the Peppermint helmet comic as well?
Oops! I read this comic in one day!
It was pretty freakin' great.
I salute you!
It's been a wild ride! We loved every panel!
I think I subscribed 10 pages in, and this was the second webcomic I subscribed to! thanks for the wild ride, and good luck in your future projects!
The tag still says Updated: x Days ago
Is there another final after thought, or has it not been coded in yet to be Completed?
This comic is STILL in the smackjeeves spotlight.
What a long, strange Tripp it's been.
As much fun TRIPP was to read, it's really nice to see it end and all the characters land on their feet.
I'm into ARIEL 51, but damn, you set yourself one high bar !
