He finally says nevermore and it only took over 200 strips!
Vote for Tripp at Topwebcomics and together we can rule the galaxy as creator and reader!
@corruption - What you say is all true but there is a very big reason she's telling them... It's important for Poe to know that she's behind it and that her messing with Tripp is not going to stop. It puts the pressure on Poe to stop his friend from getting hurt.
@Chaos Master - Super Poe!
@Zombie Sperm - She is sort of a nah nah nah nah naaah kind of gal, isn't she? :)
@Stumpy DaPaladin - Yes, she's thrown the gauntlet... Directly at Poe.
@The_Hankerchief - Haha, I've been waiting a long time for the right moment to bust that out.
@Doc Savage - haha, yes, it loses quite a bit there.
@Ultimate the Hedgehog - :)
@corruption - That's true, but she's far too narcissistic for that. ;)
@Ultimate the Hedgehog - Her first volley was a warning shot, screwing up the group's dynamic and serving as an announcement to Poe that she intends to get to him by messing with the people he cares about. While Coco might believe them when they tell her, the hurt and the jealousies won't just evaporate.
@qazox - I needed to use it when it mattered. :)
She made one mistake; she admitted to giving them a potion. She could of just claimed ignorance, and let things get worse.
Now they just have to tell the others about the potion, and Coco and Sam will eagerly redirect their anger to her.
The lesson here is; never boast about anything before you are safe.
With that pose and his famous cry of Nevermore, Poe looks like he's some kind of super hero.
I'm so happy she admitted it 8D
Oh, its ON ...
...Quoth the ghost of Edgar Allen Poe. haha
In the TV series Room 222, yes I am showing my age with this one, one of the teachers decided to update the classics for a modern generation. When she was asking for opinions on the update, the principal said he grew up with the originals and there was just something majestic when reading"Quoth the Raven 'Nevermore.'" somehow he felt that it lost a lot when the Raven said "Hey baby not again."
I feel the same way about the King James.
She could of just said that if things were getting messed up, that it was Poe's fault for upsetting the balance, and things would get better if he was gone.
That way Poe would be feeling guilty, and the others would not be planning on killing her more then they normally do.
<pet peeve>Could have.</pet peeve>
No offense meant, that's just my kryptonite.
Now I've got Won't Get Fooled Again playing in my head.
@corruption: Yeah, that's what I was thinking. Her plan in a way really seems pretty... well, not thought out.
She plans to make Poe leave, and at Tripp's expense. Fine. I get that. However, making Tripp and Proxy have sex seemed more like a... well I don't know, not really anything to do with Poe. It wasn't even that bad. Tripp got something good out of it. Only one hurt here is Coco... and Tripp's rep (which he doesn't really care about). No body can really blame Poe, especially now that him and Tripp know she was behind it. And nwo that they know that, they can tell Coco and she will most likely belive them because it's more beleivable than anything else that's occured throughout this comic.
Took long enough.
