Ah, the Kentucky Gentleman. I've been looking forward to this guy. A friend of mine jokingly suggested I have a character named after bourbon. I'd told him I'd do it.
@Megan Fuzzy - I sort of picture him with a drawl as well, maybe not that severe though. :)
@Doc Savage - Haha, and drinks too, from the look of that first panel.
@Mongoose - Yeah, and there's no BS with this guy at all.
@Ultimate the Hedgehog - He probably does know she's worth it but he also has to be asking himself, "We've gone on one date and now I'm halfway across the universe, sedated and captured by Amazons. Is this worth it?"
@Chaos Master - I could definitely see that.
@Thief King - Good question!
@Francisco - And that would have been a great response!
@Mongoose - Haha! It does kind of look like that.
Why is it I hear Sam Elliott's voice as I read the thought bubbles?! Love it, Bill.
That has to be the best line in the comic yet. "My subconscious is from Kentucky? and smokes?" ROFLMAO
he's got a awesome subconscious
if this is tripps subconsious. then he already knows coco is worth it.
everyone (because of the drugs) is now seen as what tripp innerly thinks of them. SO he sees them as weird or evil people.
tripp still sees coco as a beautiful person. his subconsious allows him to see this.
so.... yeah ^^
i'm a writer, i like to go deep.
For some reason, Tripp's subconsious sounds like Harrison Ford to me.
If I were in Tripp's situation and that were my subconscious my answer would be:
"It doesn't matter if she is 'worth it'. She's in trouble, I'm the only one on Earth who knows (or would believe it) so I have no choice.
"If things work out between us then that would be even better but just knowing I did the right thing would be the only payment I would need."
I want a subconscious like that. I wonder how he feels about Poe. O.o
You know when I first read this page I thoght he was talking to the beer bottle
